The Közösségi Termelői Nonprofit Kft. (Community Producer Nonprofit Ltd.) with the co-operation of the National Agricultural Chamber are organizing a local market combined with craft fair at the Holnemvolt Park in the Budapest Zoo on 10 August and the next three Sundays.
The organizers’ aim to show rural life to the metropolitan people, to learn about the flavors and traditional dishes and to nurture the traditions and to provide direct contact with the producers. At the farmers’ markets sausages, cheese, jam and real leaven bread made based on the ancient recipes will be available. Visitors can learn the processes of foods from the farm to the table and that rural produced foods have a completely different flavor than the foods bought in the stores. (nak.hu)
