A Keep Walking Magyarország kampány támogatni kívánja a női szerepvállalást
Almost two centuries have passed since the founding of the first women’s rights movements, yet women still often face alarming obstacles in 2023. The appearance of female role models in society is particularly weak. A prime example of this is Budapest, where in 2019, among the approximately 1,200 public works of art, there are only 35 that depict women. We underestimate the importance of this, even though similar role models serve as a powerful catalyst for transforming bad patterns and creating new, exciting narratives.
This is exactly what Johnnie Walker’s latest initiative, Keep Walking Hungary, focuses on, in order to support the social role of women by telling the stories of the female “superheroes” of our time. It is not a one-time campaign, but rather a kind of long-term initiative that draws the attention of women to leave traces in our society, thus strengthening their key role, aimed at collective development and permanent change of narratives.
