Transparent processes in manufacturing

On 28 November 2025 in the dome hall of MOM Kult, POPAI general secretary Ildikó Kátai opened the event. Next POPAI president Ágnes Csiby gave a welcome speech.

The first section of the professional programme featured the introduction of the OptiFlow Pro production management system by Ákos Bardóczy, founder and business development director of the solution. With OptiFlow Pro the goal is to integrate various areas: from order management to planning and logistics to invoicing, everything can be done in a single system based on real-time data.

Hot dog experience in your home

Next the Pick team presented the story of the retail launch of Pick hot dog sausages. Trade marketing group leader Krisztián Király emphasised that sausages and hot dog type products are also very important for Pick. Group brand manager Péter Fejes and senior brand manager Henriett Szabó-Spanyol recalled that originally the products were launched through the HoReCa channel: they appeared at filling stations at the end of 2021. During the retail launch, the cooperation between Pick and Lidl became decisive. In the product development phase it was necessary to standardise sizes and raw material characteristics, as well as to test home preparation methods.

Innovating with a Mizo heart

Andrea Mészáros, trade marketing group leader of Mizo gave an insight into the brand’s focus on innovation. Mizo is present in 12 categories on the market, in many cases in a market-leading position, and for the company 2025 was all about new products. The Mizo Prote!n product range, which targets groups with special nutritional needs, played a special role. The EuroShop trade fair has a 60-year history and it was also present as a professional supporter of the event.

Szilvia Máté, managing director of BD-Expo told that the next EuroShop will take place in Düsseldorf on 22-26 February, presenting international retail innovations across seven themes. The day’s programme was concluded with the POPAI Awards POP competition awards ceremony.
