Barbecue season starts in the Tesco supermarkets
The barbecue season lasts from May to August. During the barbecue season 600 thousand packages of meat products, 42 million cans of beer, 1.5 thousand tons of charcoal and 2 thousand tons of briquettes are consumed in Tesco.
The sales of barbecue products increased by 56 percent in 2015, compared to 2014 and this year it is expected to grow even further. The chain is preparing for the barbecue season with 28 new meat products, more than 50 kinds of spice mixture and with 15 different grilled cheeses.
