IKEA sells through an e-commerce company in China
IKEA has begun selling its products at Alibaba-owned e-commerce giant Tmall – origo wrote. This is the first time that the world’s largest furniture manufacturer has been selling its products through a third party over the company’s 77-year history.
The Swedish furniture manufacturer hopes that the move will reach more Chinese customers who prefer to use e-commerce sites. The partnership was also created, due to the corona virus, which led IKEA closing all stores in China at the end of January. (origo)
