U.S. households have spent nearly 10% less in the past month than a year earlier, JP Morgan’s card data shows. It was also revealed which type of consumption fell and in which age groups the restraint of consumption was the greatest – portfolio.hu wrote after CNBC.
Recent data from the largest U.S. bank shows that there is a significant difference in consumption trends across sectors: supermarkets and wholesale stores are showing growth, but steep falls have also been recorded in restaurants, gas stations, accommodation and aviation. (portfolio.hu)
