This is how art can become a value for companies_Art is Business training from April
Art is Business is launching a training course to stimulate effective cooperation between the worlds of art and business, offering valuable knowledge and network capital to corporate and cultural professionals. The 7M course guides participants through the operation of the art sector and the business opportunities it holds for seven weeks. Authentic experts share their experiences: Linda Bérczi, head of The Space Gallery; Árpád Bíró, marketing manager of the Örkény István Theater; Helga Hóbor, communications manager of the National Dance Theater; Gergely Kalocsay, head of support law at the National Film Institute; Balázs Kégli, managing director of Kultúra 2008 Art Nonprofit Kft. and the Museum of Fine Arts; Dávid Zsoldos, founder-owner of Papageno and András Máté Balogh, president of the Art is Business Association. In addition to the artists, successful managers in business also share their experiences.
The program aims to help cultural and corporate sector actors develop creative, value-based, long-term partnerships in a world dominated by numbers and results.
During the training, participants will be introduced to the world of different art forms – film, theatre, visual arts, dance and classical music – and their business and sponsorship opportunities. The lectures offer both theoretical and practical knowledge, and participants will learn through valuable examples how to successfully connect the arts with the goals and strategies of the corporate world. During the events, speakers will present the state of the cultural sphere, explore different ways of supporting it. They will introduce the sponsorship opportunities of the film industry, and illustrate the cooperation between the theatre world and the corporate sphere with good examples. They help visual arts actors with inspiring international and Hungarian examples, highlighting the functioning and support opportunities of the universal world of dance, as well as the importance of the presence of classical music and possible international connections.
The training starts on April 28, 2025. The events are held every Monday between 18:00 and 20:00 at the Art is Business central office in Budapest, and a maximum of 25 people can participate in the lecture series.
