How to get rid of single-use plastics at your McDonald’s
McDonald’s plans to replace plastic packaging materials in addition to EU directives and domestic regulations, with the next step being to start replacing plastic straws and cutlery with alternatives made from paper, fibre and wood from sustainable sources as early as this month.
The majority of mcdonald’s restaurant guests probably don’t even think about going to a place where, as a result of years of work, they have applied outstanding practices at European level to selective waste collection and recovery, energy saving and carbon footprint reduction.
