This is how Penny reacts to inflation and how their customers react
Reális és elfogadható okok állnak az élelmiszer-termékpályák egyes cikkeinek drágulása mögött, amelyet a kereskedelmi szereplők is kénytelenek érvényesíteni áraikban. A mostani kiélezett helyzet sem írja felül az évek alatt kialakult beszerzői kapcsolatokat: a folyamatos működés, az állandó kínálat biztosítása fontosabb, mint a rövid ideig elérhető árelőny. A Penny inkább a sajátmárkás és réstermékek jobb kínálatával igyekszik reagálni a kialakult helyzetre, diszkontként lehetőséget is lát a folyamatokban, miközben folytatja korábban megkezdett megújulási programját – írja a Pénzcentrum.
“Undoubtedly, there is a kind of healthy competition between sourcing suppliers and commercial chains in order for the chains to buy at the lowest possible prices and the supplier to sell at the highest possible prices. These two counter-interests inevitably conflict with each other. Of course, we also receive the information from the supplier side, and we are also aware of the current conditions. We have not been able to deal with unrealistic demands either now or in the past, but it is important to state that we are open to legitimate, well-founded demands. In the case of any price change whose signs are clearly visible on the market, we can also move along with the extra costs that arise. This is not only understood from the supplier side, but also during our cooperation with professional organizations. So we clearly see what the situation is in agriculture and food processing”
Géza Vincze, Penny’s procurement director, told Pénzcentrum, who added:
“We are managing the current situation in a partnership relationship, since everyone’s goal is to survive. Today, the negotiation is not about making extra profit, but about ensuring that everyone can ensure proper operation.”
– he adds.
