IFK: the mall construction stop would push back the construction industry and trade
The real estate development industry is concerned by the bill on “plaza building moratorium”. To create commercial establishments a detailed impact studies are still needed – states the statement of the Real Estate Developers Association.
Árendás Gergely president of the association, said that it is important to note that according to the current legislation noone can buid shopping centers in Hungary without control. However the suggestion is contrary to its title: itwould not only stop the building of supermarkets and hypermarkets, but all discount retail development would be prohibited – reports Világgazdaság Online.
