Young Sommelier World Championship
At the end of September Budapest hosted the Young Sommelier World Championship of Chaine des Rotisseurs. Competitors had to be younger than 31 years. Three young sommeliers qualified for the final, where Polish sommelier (he represented Great Britain in the competition) Piotr Pietras proved to be the best. The Hungarian participant was Mátyás Szik, head sommelier of Four Seasons Gresham Palace. //
