This year, ten Michelin-recommended restaurants will participate in the national Restaurant Week, which will be held from October 10 to 27 with the participation of almost two hundred restaurants across the country.
More than 180 restaurants await the public this year with affordable, fixed-price menus, many of which are among the Top 100 according to Hungarian gastronomy publications, and ten are also included in the Michelin recommendation catalog – the organizers told MTI on Wednesday.
The participating restaurants prepare their three-course menus based on selected ingredients especially for the event, which are offered at a unique, fixed price. The prices have not changed since last year, so in the top category you can access the menus from HUF 5,900, in the premium category from HUF 7,900, and in the exclusive restaurants from HUF 9,900, including the service fee.
The interesting thing about the event is that especially rare and special dishes are included in the offer. This year there will be rooster goulash, pheasant essence, lamb consommé with lamb ravioli, fried pig’s ear, Angus rib-eye steak from Hortobágy, Wagyu beef, roe deer carpaccio, venison tenderloin, BBQ salmon, Szent Jakab clams, red tuna, poppy seed tiramisu or chocolate with truffles.
Some restaurants offer an even wider selection for a reasonable additional charge. You can find information about this, as well as book a table at the restaurants, on the website www.etteremhet.hu from Wednesday.
