In accordance with the practice of recent years, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) will also limit the start of long-distance live animal shipments in non-air-conditioned vehicles in the summer of 2023.

In view of the weather forecasts, the planned road transport of ruminants via Bulgaria to Turkey is prohibited from today until further notice. In addition, in the case of other destination countries, transporters and official experts must constantly check whether the shipment can be safely started with the interests of the animals in mind.
