On November 14, 2025, the Hungarian Economic Development Agency, under the ownership of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), will organize the Night of Modern Factories, a national program series, for the ninth time, which aims to bring interested parties closer to the world of innovation and technology. As part of the program series, more than 120 factories will open their doors all over the country, both online and offline. Anyone interested can register for the events, which are free to attend, on the website of the Modern Factory Night, for a number of free places determined by the factories, the Ministry of National Education and Culture told MTI on Thursday.

Within the framework of the Modern Factory Night program series, companies representing various industries and sectors will open their doors for the ninth time this year, providing insight into their production processes and operations, and demonstrating their unique, innovative solutions through online and offline presentations.

The program series provides an outstanding opportunity for anyone interested – especially young people who are about to choose a career – to learn how modern technology is transforming industrial production. In recent years, the program series has grown into one of the most successful communication and community-building events in Hungarian industry: thousands of visitors participate in factory tours every year, while the list of participating companies is also growing.

It was emphasized that this year more than 120 factories across the country are waiting for interested parties, but the opportunity to join is still open to companies. This year, many popular companies have joined the program series, such as Coca-Cola HBC Hungary Ltd., Magyar Suzuki Ltd., Márka Üdítőgyártó Kft. or Caola Ltd. On November 14, Michelin Hungária Kft. from Nyíregyháza, Béres Gyógyszergyár Zrt., Sopron Brewery, and Magyar Vagon Vasút Zrt. will open their doors for the first time.

The announcement quoted László Hunyadi, Deputy State Secretary responsible for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises at the Ministry of National Economy, who emphasized that the goal of the program series is to bring everyone interested, especially young people and businesses, closer to the world of innovation and technology. The Night of Modern Factories is not just about factory tours, but also about showcasing how industrial companies that drive the economy are evolving, renewing themselves and inspiring others. Those who visit these locations will be able to see firsthand how a traditional factory can become a “smart factory“. The Night of Modern Factories is thus not just an event, but a joint learning process in which Hungarian industry can show that the factories of the future are already here all around us.

Tamás Fehérváry, CEO of the Hungarian Economic Development Agency, highlighted in the announcement:

The success of the event series launched in 2017 lies in the transfer of knowledge, and during the factory visits, young career starters, university students, and even family members of those working at the company can gain an insight into the everyday processes of the plants.

The list of participating factories, the The application platform and further information are available on the website of the Modern Factory Night program series (https://www.moderngyarakejszakaja.hu/) – the ministry’s announcement reads.
