With the toy market growing this year as well, the holiday season can boost it even more
While this year’s Christmas season will be quite special around the world, toy manufacturers and retailers aren’t discouraged: they’re expecting big revenue in the final months of the year.
The pandemic has generally benefited game sales, the BBC reports. Due to closures and quarantine, parents bought several toys to try to tie up their children stuck at home.
In the first nine months of the year, HASBRO’s toy sales increased 13 percent compared to 2019.
Sales of Mattel-made Barbie dolls have grown 15 percent so far in 2020. (origo)
