This year, shoppers are spending billions on toys at Christmas, according to a survey
Regio Játék estimates that the annual turnover of the Hungarian toy market may exceed 50 billion HUF, half of which, 25-27 billion HUF, will be realized in the month and a half before Christmas – the company told MTI.
Gyaraki Dávid, head of marketing at Regio Games, said in a statement that the strongest period of the toy market can be attributed to Christmas every year, so the basket values are the highest in the festive season at the end of the year. This year, an average of 11,000 HUF worth of online and 8,800 HUF worth of traditional store purchases are expected. (MTI)
