The Bread Soul Festival was held in Budapest again this year. At a meeting of traditional sourdough bread makers, home bakers and professional bakers exchanged their experiences and measured their knowledge for the sixth time.

The aim of the Bread Soul Festival is to bring together bread lovers, the participants to bring back the public consciousness of the concept of traditional, sourdough bread, its variants and original flavors – Vajda József organizer told M1 news channel on Monday. According to the baker, bread has two souls: sourdough and man, hence the name of the festival comes. (MTI)
