“For the Protection of the Environment” Award 2022 is the award of the Association of Environmental Protection Services and Manufacturers, the professional recognition of the Hungarian environmental industry since 2001.

About the Award The Association of Environmental Protection Services and Manufacturers (KSZGYSZ) is a professional interest representation non-profit organization that, since its establishment in 1992, organizes and represents the cooperation and further training of actors in the domestic environment and nature protection and the environmental industry. Its recognized outstanding partner is the state administration, of almost all actors of economic life. The Association now has 260 member companies, supporters and associated members, who represent all areas of environmental protection.

The purpose of the “Protection of the Environment” Award, founded by KSZGYSZ in 2000, is to recognize the activities of outstanding environmental protection industry and service providers, the achievements and talents of professionals working in this field, to provide them with professional and moral support by awarding the Award, and to give them the opportunity to for the wider dissemination of achieved results.

The 2022 call for applications for the “Protection of the Environment” Award is open for nominations in 3 categories until April 10, 2023:

– business category
– youth category
– private person category

With the decision of the professional jury, it awards outstanding activities that are carried out in the interest of society, in order to reduce the burden on the environment, eliminate environmental pollution, and promote sustainability and the circular economy model.

The 2022 awards will be presented at the 22nd National Environmental Protection Meeting, organized by KSZGYSZ, to be held on May 6, 2023.
