The Ministry of Agriculture draws the attention of property owners and land users to the fact that the implementation of the 2025 border inspection inspections has begun. These are carried out by government agencies acting within the authority of the real estate authorities, during which they primarily check the fulfillment of the utilization, temporary utilization and secondary utilization obligations prescribed in the Act on the Protection of Agricultural Land. The cited provisions of the Act oblige the land user to utilize the agricultural land with production appropriate to the field of cultivation, or to prevent the establishment and spread of weeds without continuing production – while complying with soil protection regulations. Border inspections – in addition to checking the fulfillment of the utilization obligation – also include the detection of unauthorized use of agricultural land and the examination of the correspondence between the cultivation branches in kind and the real estate registry. Failure to comply with the utilization obligation results in the imposition of a land protection fine.
