Lidl and Pikok Pure are also among the best brands this year
Lidl Hungary, the country’s market-leading retail chain, won the Superbrands award for the eleventh time and thus once again entered the ranking of the best domestic brands, as did Pikok Pure’s own brand, which received the award for the second time.
Lidl Hungary has earned the Superbrands trademark for the eleventh time with the Lidl brand, and for the second time with the Pikok Pure brand.
Judit Tőssér, head of corporate communications at Lidl Hungary, said in connection with the recognition:
“Since entering the Hungarian market, our company has been continuously developing and has now become one of the consumers’ favorite discount stores. We are proud that our efforts are regularly recognized by the professional audience and that our company and our Pikok Pure brand are regarded as one of the best known and most popular brands. The Superbrands award is also an important feedback for us regarding the fact that Lidl Hungary has represented reliability and quality for customers and business partners alike for many years.” He added: “We pay special attention to domestic values and to the support of Hungarian families and the Hungarian economy, in which the nearly 8,000 employees who have contributed to our success with their conscientious work play a significant role. Thank you and congratulations to them too!”
This year, the 20-member committee of independent experts met for the nineteenth time and found Lidl and Pikok Pure worthy of wearing the Superbrands 2023 trademark.
