The Pénzügykutató Zrt. expects a growth of around 3.8 percent this year and for 2018
After last year’s weakening, the Hungarian economy has accelerated. This year and next year, the growth is expected to be around 3.8 percent, according to the latest forecast of the Pénzügykutató Zrt.
Várhegyi Éva, scientific advisor of the Pénzügykutató Zrt. pointed out at the company’s press conference in Budapest on Wednesday that in addition to the global economic prosperity, the accelerated utilization of EU funds, the loosened fiscal and income policy, due to next year’s elections, and economic stimulus monetary policy will affect the growth.
