Economic growth can substantially accelerate this year
The gross domestic product (GDP) increased less than expected in the fourth quarter of last year, but this year the analysts interviewed by MTI expect a substantial acceleration.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Tuesday that Hungary’s gross domestic product in the fourth quarter increased by 1.6 percent last year, compared to the same period of the previous year. In 2016, GDP increased by 2.0 percent. In the fourth quarter of last year, market services and agriculture contributed to the growth the most. (MTI)
