This year, 1.9 billion HUF, next year to HUF 3.8 billion HUF will be spent on the international city marketing campaign of Budapest – the government's decision was published in the latest issue of the Hungarian Official Gazette (Magyar Közlöny).
According to the government's decision, Budapest’s city image must be renewed, its attractiveness should be increased. The capital's tourist services should be restructured, as well as a short-term, intensive, Budapest international city marketing campaign should be conducted in accordance with the government's economic development and tourism marketing efforts.
