Time to catch up
According to the European Commission’s Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI), Hungary is ranked 26th in the European Union in the integration of digital technologies by businesses, and the country is in the 25th position if digital public services are considered. As for the general digital development level of EU member states, Hungary is 23rd from the 27 countries. Gábor Szloboda, managing director of corporate digitalisation specialist Idya Hungary told our magazine that digital transition is one of the most important elements in the EU’s recovery plan.
