The global market for PC monitors expanded strongly in the third quarter as a large number of people continued to work from home due to the corona virus pandemic.

According to a summary posted on the website of the U.S. International Data Corporation (IDC) IT and telecommunications market research firm, manufacturers shipped 37 million 534,000 personal computer monitors in the three months to the end of September, an increase of 15.9 percent, compared to the same period of last year.
