Carrefour bakes breads with 25 percent less salt
Joining the battle against excessive salt consumption, French retailer Carrefour has reduced the salt content in some of its bakery items by 25 percent. The retailer introduced salt from calcium- and potassium-rich sea minerals to reach this goal without compromising on the taste and flavour of some of its breads.
