An amendment to decrease the excise guarantee on alcohol products to twenty million HUF
Lázár János Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office and L. Simon László Minister of State would reduce the excise guarantee on alcohol products to twenty million HUF. The two MPs submitted the amendment of the law to the parliament on Monday.
According to their amendment, the excise guarantee on alcohol beverages such as beer, wine, champagne and intermediate alcohol products would be decreased to twenty million HUF. This would be a “large-scale, nearly 10 percent reduction” of last year’s excise guarantee of 22 million HUF – wrote Lázár János and L. Simon László in the reasoning of the proposal.
