Most people are looking for traditional ham for Easter
Most people are looking for traditional, slow-cured ham for Easter, but many find it difficult to choose the right one from the range – Pick reported on Thursday based on its survey.
According to a representative survey commissioned by the food industry company, more than two-thirds of Hungarians buy ham and other foods traditionally consumed at this time for Easter. 28 percent of those surveyed believe that ham is the most important ingredient of this period, but 36 percent have had a bad experience, and almost one in four has problems buying it. Excellent quality is important to almost every third buyer, while only 12 percent decide based solely on price. Almost 30 percent prefer products from Hungarian manufacturers, and some people specifically avoid hams from unknown foreign manufacturers – they wrote.
According to the statement, you should not risk the festive atmosphere with strikingly cheap goods, reliable domestic manufacturers will not disappoint. Feedback also shows that more and more people are looking for high-quality, Hungarian-made ham for Easter.
The survey was conducted at the end of February by interviewing 1,000 adults, the statement reads.
