Ample supply and last year's prices are expected of Easter ham

Although Easter is a month away, the manufacturers have already started to deliver smoked meats to the stores. This year, because of the high competition and due to the decline in meat consumption, the customers can expect the prices of last year.

Domestic producers looking forward towards this year's Easter ham season with cautious optimism. Éder Tamás,  president of the Meat Association hopes turnover of ten billion HUF, from the marketing of these products. According to the informations of  the member companies of the Association; the costumers can expect abundant supply and last year's prices – reports Népszabadság Online.
