The Meat Alliance does not expect supply disruption during Easter
There is no expected supply disruption in the market for Easter smoked meat products, with industry companies offering a wide range, but the products will be available at a higher price than last year” – the president of the Hungarian Meat Industry Association told MTI.
Éder Tamás said that about 6-7 thousand tons of Easter smoked meat products have been sold for years, and he expects a similar turnover this year.
He pointed out that the preparation of meat plants begins well before Easter. There are preparations such as traditional marinated, matured, smoked products that have been produced for weeks. (MTI)
