Meat Wholesale, Pest County, 2015 – Video of the Day
A meat wholesale business in Pest County was checked in early December by the officers of the NÉBIH’s Featured Affairs Directorate. During the procedure, a total of more than 22 tonnes of products were seized and an illegal gyros producing plants was also discovered.
During the inspection, the staff of NÉBIH found unmarked and non-traceable products and also found that the cutting activities were not documented. The unmarked poultry products arrived from Poland without EKAER numbers, while the tracking of the seized beef products was inadequate. The process is underway, the expected fines will amount to millions.
