The performance of EU slaughterhouses is fluctuating

The performance of slaughterhouses is fluctuating.
According to the latest Eurostat data, the number of pigs slaughtered in slaughterhouses increased steadily in October and November 2020, but fell at several locations by December. In January and February this year, there was a more serious decline in the production of slaughterhouses, which was followed by a strong jump in March, but then the numbers returned to near the level of the beginning of the year.
