Russian shopping centers on a roller coaster
According to the practice of the recent years, New Year’s Eve brought the the highest retail sales in Russia, because the Orthodox Christmas begins on January 7.
According to the data of the Watcom analyst company, the turnover of shopping centers during the 21-27 December period decreased by 1.5 percent, compared to a year ago, while a 20 percent decline occured, compared to the data of two years ago. (by our colleague)
