Waste-free SPAR convention in the Netherlands
In February Spar Netherlands organised a ‘waste-free’ annual convention that concentrated on the theme of responsible retail trade. In order to make the event waste-free, SPAR implemented a number of measures at the venue, including sustainable alternatives for disposable items and LED lighting. The retailer aims to recycle the plastic collected at the event into trophies for its upcoming contests within the retail group
