Burger King to extend opening hours in US
The company hopes to reduce the gap between itself and competitors, such as McDonald's, in the Late Night daypart. McDonald's is also open until midnight or later in many markets.
Burger King has announced that from 5
June it is to extend opening hours at its US outlets to 2am or later,
Thursday to Saturday.
To support the ‘Late Nite’ strategy
Burger King has launched a television ad, the company also will
carry out an aggressive campaign over the summer including
sponsorship and activities at music festivals and evening venues. It
plans in-venue advertising at nightclubs and bars.
