120 percent more tourists vacationed in Croatia in the first half of the year
In the first half of the year, 5.7 million tourists visited Croatia and spent 24.7 million guest nights, the number of guests is 120 percent and the number of guest nights is 107 percent more than in the same period of last year, the Croatian Tourism Association reported in the Jutarnji List daily newspaper (TZ).
According to the newspaper, the first strong weekend of the year in Croatian tourism was one month ahead of last year. Based on the data of the eVisitor system launched by the Croatian Ministry of Tourism, 640,000 tourists are currently vacationing in the country, and this number may reach one million a day this month.
