At the moment five milk imperial stouts and a barley wine are available – beers with different alcohol levels, aged in Kentucky Bourbon or Barbados barrels, plus some of them in maple syrup barrel too, for 0.5, 1 or 1.5 years. Two more beers will follow, aged in Fiji rum and Scotch whisky barrels. HopTop has 40 barrels and each one can be used to age 500 bottles of beer. Owner Csaba Halgas told: special storage and capital are also necessary if one wishes to make barrel-aged beer. The new HopTop beers debuted in the Winehub wine centre, where they will also be available to shoppers. //
