How would an art deco poster look like in 2019?
Graphic artists, and hobby artists are asked by the 165-year-old Dreher Brewers to re-dream the iconic posters of the brand from the first half of the 20th century. Anyone who has an idea of how to grasp the essence of art deco and constructivist modernism in 2019 can do it within an open competition.
The production in Kőbányai beer and Dreher’s ads, accompanied the 20th century, basically defining the streets of Budapest and the country. Most of them see the profession as a worthy creation from a 100-year perspective. The aim of the competition is to make a memorable Hungarian poster design based on significant traditions and to introduce the tradition and the present of the brewery in Kőbánya. Deadline for submission is 4 August.
