What do those companies do well that don’t suffer from a workforce shortage in 2019?

There are four key areas where things must work well if a company wants to avoid suffering from the problem of workforce shortage: 1. All active and passive methods and channels must be used, and they must be used well in searching for workers. 2. The messages with which a company wants to reach prospective workers must be perfectly in line with job seeker needs, e.g. pay, work environment, career options, work-life balance, etc. 3. People doing the recruitment must be perfectly prepared for ‘selling’ the company and themselves. They need to inspire job seekers. 4. The selection process must be lean, applicants must get feedback within 48 hours about whether the company wants to employ them or not. //
