Syngenta developed a digital application for hobby gardeners
Syngenta Hungary presented a new, free mobile application. The Garden and Home application provides professional help against pests and plant diseases that threaten gardens and households.
The changing growing conditions, more extreme weather, the appearance and threat of pests and pathogens cause serious difficulties for hobby gardeners in the successful cultivation of plants. These problems encouraged Syngenta, one of the world’s leading agricultural companies, to expand its digital offering and, with the new Garden and Home application, make it easier for hobby gardeners to obtain information and effectively protect themselves against pests and pathogens.
“Syngenta’s new application containing 35 plant cultures provides accurate information about the entire range of insect, pathogen and weed control products and plant protection agents around the house and small garden. In addition, it helps to identify pests and diseases, weeds and provides protection tips against them. The application also offers an efficient selection of products, contains video help, and helps interested parties with frequently repeated questions and answers. In addition to gardeners, the application also provides useful information for employees of farm shops and horticultural store chains”
, explained Attila Szokol, head of Syngenta Professional Solutions.
