Mustgases are causing accidents mainly in family and hobby wineries – Brazsil Dávid, Secretary General of the National Council of Mountain Villages told M1 news channel.
According to the Secretary-General, in larger plants, the rule that ventilation, due to carbon monoxide, is strictly imposed.
If the gas ratio reaches 8 to 10 percent in the cellar, it may cause a loss of consciousness.
Therefore, it is not safe to test the air quality with a candle, as its flame burns up to a 14 percent carbon dioxide concentration. (MTI)
