Disney figures to make Tesco packaging more attractive in England. According to plans, the cartoon figures will appear on items for a target group which includes children as potential consumers. Consumers will first see the renewed packaging in November in UK stores.

A total of HUF 130 million of subsidies for 77 applicants to boost tourism around lake Balaton. The Ministry of Local Self Governments and Regional Development has decided to allocate HUF 8,8 million to 12 applicants for employing animators, HUF 76,8 million to support 46 events and 44,2 million for marketing and the renovation of tourist routes.

The product introduced at the Cologne food industry exhibition was a huge success, with several major food retail chains planning to place large scale orders.

First BAUHAUS store opening in Hungary. The inventory of the BAUHAS store built at a cost of EUR 16 million in Dunakeszi is worth EUR 6 million and is composed of 120,000 products. The store employs a staff of 130. Apart from tools for home improvement and garden activities, they also sell special equipment like, for example needed for boating.

More capital for Zalabaromfi. Dale-consortium has increased the share capital of companies belonging to the Zalabaromfi group by a total of HUF 1,2 billion. The purpose of the increase was to provide an adequate level of current assets for stable operation.

Carlsberg-Budvar co-operation in Denmark. House of Beers, the own distributor enterprise of Carlsberg will be responsible for the distribution of the Czech brewery’s products in Denmark from 1. January 2008. Distribution is organised similarly in Finland, Sweden, Serbia, Bulgaria and Croatia.
