Mondelēz International opens hypermodern sweets factory in Bahrein
In April Mondelēz International opened a new, state-of-the-art, 250,000m², 45,000-ton production capacity sweets and biscuit manufacturing plant in Bahrein. The company invested USD 90 million in the factory that produces iconic brands, including Oreo cookies and Barni soft cakes, for local consumers and also serves as a hub for exports.
