Hipercom: Valentine's Day special offers in Hungarian stores
Shortly before Valentine's Day, special offer flyers have flooded the market and mailboxes to offer the best purchases for customers. The database of Hipercom Monitoring has taken a closer look at a number of special offer leaflets, only to find that Lidl's magazine of 02.02.2012-08.02.2012 was the first paper to offer gifts for Valentine's Day.
On the next couple of days, the special offer leaflets of all the other magazines have also landed in our mailbox. Even though the number of products associated with Valentine's Day is on the rise, the most popular gift to offer to the loved ones is still various boxes of chocolate. There is a wide range of such products, and chocolates with alcohol content are getting more and more popular in Hungary – just like in our neighbouring countries. Two weeks before Valentine's Day, the oroduct mentioned in special offer leaflets the most often was Milka's I love Milka and Thank you 120 g bonbons (mentioned 23 times), with their price ranging between 529 Ft to 599 Ft.
