Career bridge
From 1 August 2016 the Career Bridge Programme is up and running once again. Within the framework of this scheme, if a company employs someone whose previous position has been in the public sector, it is entitled to be granted a social contribution tax break. This means that the sum of the social contribution the employer must pay after the worker can be reduced by 13.5 percent of their gross wage or at the maximum by 13.5 percent of twice the minimum wage. It is very important that the employee in question needs to apply for a Career Bridge certificate, which once received, must be handed over to the employer
