Seven hundred thousand people visited Szilvásvárad last year
In the village of 1,700 inhabitants 2000 accommodation spaces await the guests, including two four-star hotels – told mayor Szaniszló László to turizmusonline.hu.
In 2011, the tourists spent an approximately seventy thousand guest nights in Szilvásvárad, which is a significant step forward compared to the previous year. The number of visitors last year had reached 700 thousand in the village and in the Szalajka Valley. Many of them are returning guests. 17 million HUF tax came to the local authorities 2011, while the government has added an additional 25 million HUF – reports turizmusonline.hu.
