Unilever increased its sales by seven percent
British-Dutch Unilever's good first-quarter results are due to the turnover increase occurred primarily in the emerging markets: its sales grew by 7 percent worldwide compared to a year earlier to 10.9 billion.
Fifty-six percent of the total turnover of the group occurred in the emerging countries, increasing by 9.9 percent.
The turnover in the previous, last year's last quarter was 10.82 billion euros, 12 percent above the results of a year earlier – reports mfor.hu.
