The revenues of the domestic hotels increased by seven and a half percent
The number of guests in commercial accommodationsw increased by 4.2 percent, while the number of guest nights increased by 3.6 percent, compared to the level of the previous year. The revenues of the hotels on current prices rose by 7.5 percent in January-May 2011 – reports the Central Statistical Office.
In May, the number of guests decreased by 4.2 percent, the number of domestic guests decreased by 9.3 percent, while the number of foreigners grew by 1.2 percent, compared to last May.
In May, the number of overnight stays decreased by 6.1 percent, over the same period of last year, domestically by 10.4 percent and 2.8 percent less guests nights were spent by foreign guests in commercial accommodation, compared to last May. The sales revenue of hotels in May increased by 3.9 percent.
