HENT: Two-third of the Hungarians would punish counterfeiters more severely
According to nearly two-third of the Hungarian population, the distribution of any counterfeit products is a crime.
The two-third of the Hungarians would punish those who counterfeit sports goods, medicine, food and other software more severely punish, the most recent joint research into of the National Board Against Counterfeiting (HENT) and the Tárki public opinion research institute. The survey also showed that although the majority of the Hungarians are aware of the social and economic damages caused by counterfeit goods, but an increase occured in the number of consumers purchasing such products.
