140-150 euros per hectare can basic support is expected in the new CAP

Domestic farmers can expect 140 to 150 euros per hectare basic support between 2014-2020 in the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) – told Czerván György, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM).

The producers in the current single area payment scheme (SAPS) can apply for 198 euros per hectare this year and 230 euros in 2013, but from 2014 the basic support within the direct payments will be reduced, due to the transferring of requirements and possibilities – reports agromonitor.hu.
